    THE CONDITIONALS

    The Conditionals describe the result of something that might happen (in the present or future) or might have happened but didn't (in the past) . They are made using different English verb tenses.

    There are four kinds of conditionals:

    The Zero Conditional:
    (if + present simple, ... present simple)
    If you heat water to 100 degrees, it boils.

    The First Conditional with WILL, MAY and COULD

    (if + present simple, ... will + infinitive)
    If it rains tomorrow, we'll go to the cinema.

    (if + present simple, ... may + infinitive)
    If you come early, we may go to the park.

    (if + present simple, ... could + infinitive)l
    If she finishes on time, she could get prize.

     

    The Second Conditional 

    The third Conditional

    HOMEWORK (SPEAKING)

    Think about an advice to give. Use SHOULD and 1rst CONDITIONAL.

    Example:

    You should study English. Because If you study English, you may get a good job. You may be able to know about another cultures and find information easier.
